Who We Are: Nurse Practitioners
A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) is an RN with a Master's degree in
nursing, which includes specialized training in Pediatric care. The PNP is
licensed and board certified in the specialty area for which they have been
trained.
The PNP's at Interlachen Pediatrics have multiple years of experience in a
variety of pediatric settings and are well equipped to handle routine
pediatric well and sick care. The physicians manage our chronically ill
children and any children that require special attention. The PNP will
consult with a physician when a child presents with an illness or condition
beyond their scope of practice. |
