Patient portals are not new, however, we would like to provide you with a list of FAQ's to understand how to interact with our office and your child's medical record. We are excited to connect with families through the portal and hope it will be another tool for providing valuable information and make things easier for you all, our patients and families.
Some of the exciting features the portal offers is access to portions of your child's medical record and visit history, the ability to update your child's address information, insurance information, ask medical questions, request forms, referrals, prescription refills, request appointments, as well as see your current balance, last statement, and make online payments. Additionally, for families with multiple children you will be able to access all of your children's information from just one account. You won't have to worry about remembering multiple usernames and passwords.
Additionally, most of the forms you currently fill out in the office on paper will be available in the portal to be completed prior to the appointment and to be submitted electronically. We hope this will make your experience in the office more enjoyable as you won't have to worry about completing forms.
As we transition to the portal, we would like to ask for your patience as you may need to call the office a little more than usual until we get all of the invitations out to the families. We would like for all questions pertaining to patient care to be submitted through the portal in order to protect patient privacy. We welcome your feedback as we transition to this new system. We know there will be questions and we look forward to assisting you all to make this a successful endeavor for everyone!
